A Photographer, a Supernatural Being, and Some Rats 

When Emma, an art school dropout and camera shop co-owner, goes out searching for inspiration, she finds it in the unexpected: A mysterious woman living in the woods with her even more curious rodent roommates. When taking a film photo of her leads to goopy hallucinations and other inexplicable occurrences, Emma is both terrified and oddly intrigued. So, she decides to insert herself into the life of a stranger whose existence redefines what it means to truly be alive. As the two grow closer, they find themselves traversing long lost memories in order to uncover the truth of the woman’s past. While searching for the answers they connect over shared experiences of loss and start to ask themselves, “How can I learn to let go?”
